There are several requirements that have to be met before a Nissan receives certified pre-owned status. Every vehicle has to be under the age of six. The odometer needs to have fewer than 80,000 miles on it. The title has to be clear. Additionally, the vehicle will have to successfully undergo a 167-point inspection.

A certified Nissan is more affordable than a new vehicle. You will have a seven-year warranty that will last for 100,000 miles. This warranty will provide you with extensive protection. There are 600 components of the vehicle that will be covered by the warranty. This includes the drive train, engine and transmission.

If you need to have any repairs made, then it will need to be done by a Nissan dealer. All of the parts will be replaced with either Nissan or  Nissan-approved parts.
